FAQs

When is it open?

Eats and Beats Forest Festival: The Weekender, is our live music festival for one weekend only, running from Midday until 10pm.

This festival is suitable for all ages but there will not be children's activities on site, please see our Eats & Beats With Little Feet festival in July for our family fun festival.

Is there car parking?

Car parking is limited and must be booked in advance when purchasing your ticket and a charge of £5. There is a drop off point for those who do not want to park but are being driven by car/taxi. There is also a direct bus "PRONTO" from Nottingham City Centre which stops a straight 10 minute walk away from the festival site.

What is accessibility like?

We have made the Eats & Beat event as accessible as possible however the ground is not completely flat as is the nature of a woodland. Accessible toilet facilities are provided. The bar, street food vendors and seating areas are all outside. Please contact us if you have any specific concerns.

Are children allowed?

Yes, the festival welcomes all ages. Please be aware that alcohol will be on sale at the on site bar and there will be live music playing throughout the day. Children under 2 go free.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs are allowed; however, they must be kept on a lead at all times and not allowed to eat any wild vegetation in the woodland. Please also ensure you clean up after your dog.

Will there be security?

There will be security on the door and actively monitoring the site for the safety of customers.

What are the group sizes allowed?

Bookings should be made within the parameters of the government guidance at the time of the event.

What do I need to bring?

You may want to bring a blanket to sit on the grass - for comfort or picnic. There will be a picnic tables/benches and hay bails available but these will be on a first come first serve basis.

As you will be outside, you won’t need to wear a mask but may want to wear one when visiting the bar and/or facilities.

We also advise that you keep a bottle of hand sanitiser on your person, although hand sanitisers will be positioned throughout the site.

As you're in the woodland, if you're prone to insect bites, bring some spray for your skin so you can enjoy your time without worrying about bites.

Prepare for the weather, come rain or shine.

How much is it?

Tickets are £6.50 per child - under 14 years old. Tickets are £10 per adult 14+ years. Under 2's go free.

Do I need to book?

We will have a selection of street food traders with something for all tastes.

What drinks will be served?

We will have 2 bars on site serving a selection of local beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks.

We also have a cocktail bar!

What health and safety procedures are in place?

We are taking a number of steps to ensure that this pop-up event is safe for customers and colleagues. Here’s the summary:

  • Security-controlled entry, exit and capacities
  • Hand sanitiser available throughout the site
  • Regular cleaning of service areas
  • Physical distancing policy enforced throughout if government guidelines advise.
  • 2m queue system at the bar if government guidelines advise.
  • Tables under cover, spaced 2m apart if government guidelines advise.
  • Customer details will be recorded upon purchase of ticket
  • Daily staff “safe to work” procedures in place

Restrictions

You are not permitted to bring alcohol on-site although of course feel free to bring water. We have a fully stocked and licensed bar serving all the alcoholic beverages and soft drinks your boozy selves require.

We ask that where possible you support the local street food on-site, who have really taken a hit during lockdown like the majority of the hospitality industry. Unless you have specific dietary requirements all food consumed at the festival must be purchased from all the tasty cuisines at the festival! Meat, savouries, sweets, ice creams, veggie, vegan and gluten free options are all available.

Please do not wander onto neighbouring land, follow the white arrows on the trees and do not stray off the trodden paths due to nettles, brambles, eye level branches and rabbit warren holes etc.

Zero tolerance policy on Covid 19 government guideline breaches

We cannot allocate any car parking spaces to those who have not purchased a car parking ticket in advance.

Waiver

By purchasing a ticket you agree to your image being used on any picture or video that may be published on social media by any of the affiliated businesses.

Any live band/activity promoted on our event pages are a guideline of what to expect, however this may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances & refunds will not be given in the case of a change of scheduling to acts/activities throughout the weekend.

We cannot be held responsible for visitors who arrives at the festival on the wrong day to what they have purchased on their ticket. We will do our best to help accommodate but any visitor who attends outside the date on their ticket may be turned away due to the restricted numbers we have in place to be Covid safe.

We cannot accept any refunds requested less than 1 week before the event. This is due to our restricted capacity and high demand in tickets. Any refunds accepted will be paid as soon as possible after the event date.
